The Prague Castle is more than just a castle.

Cross the Charles Bridge, wander through one of Prague’s most gorgeous neighborhoods, and follow the stairs up to Prague Castle and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. It’s more-so an area of town rather than simply a castle. Historically, it was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia.

In winter you’ll find Christmas markets here, but year-round you can see the Changing of the Guard and wander around the various areas of the Prague Castle complex.
